Born in Canada on July 16, 1965, Tina Tyler got her start in porn in the early '90's at the age of 27 in Video Virgins #1. She was inspired by Mariel Hemmingway's portrayal of Playboy Playmate Dorothy Stratten in the 1983 film "Star 80" It is rumored that Bill Margold chose her porn name. Tina comes from Tina Louise of Gilligan's Island, and Tyler from Aerosmith's Steven Tyler. In 1993, she was briefly married to porn stud Tony Tedeschi and took on his last name. Soon after her marriage, she vanished from the porn scene, only to return after her divorce in 1994, better than ever. Tina is one of the hardest workers in the business.
